We have seen him go from Strength to strength during his Long career and It surly will never be forgotten, from His Epic Goal against Man united and Legendary Status at the Cobblers Leon Definitely left his mark on the Game.

We had a chance to catch up after his last game and I get the feeling this is only the beginning, With his debut EP on the way things look bright so continues the McKenzie Legacy….

My uncle is an exceptional man, Father and Mentor. Throughout his Illustrious Boxing career and beyond, he has continued to inspire and reach for greatness. From his work with the Mind group or the simple, positive chats he likes to have with us youngsters he remains sincere in his effort to help others. So much so that his Gym has become more than a gym its A beacon for Positivity, motivation and for some a second Home. No matter your age, race, creed or sexual preference all have been welcome to build there confidence an be apart of his academy.

I know he likes to remind all of us of his Record breaking 3 world titles @ 3 different weight classes lol but lets have a look at the whole list of Awards and Honours.

• Super Bantamweight
• Flyweight World Champion
• Bantamweight World Champion
• Two Time British Champion
• A Former European Fly weight Champion
• Mental health & well being award National and Regional (With his 10 week project)
• And now a MBE (Member of the British Empire) 

On a personal Note Watching him as I grew up was a huge motivation an I couldn’t ask for a better father figure. So on behalf of the whole #TeamMckenzie
